Breaking the Code by Hugh Whitemore

Banbury Cross Players performed Breaking the Code by Hugh Whitemore from 30th April to 3rd May 2008.

Directed by Anne Bloor, the cast was as follows:-

Alan Turing – Bruce Walton
Ron Miller(Alan’s Lover) – Nik Lester
Chris Morcom(Alan’s Schoolfriend) – Mark Fairbairn
Mick Ross(Police Sergeant) – Jem Turner
Sara Turing(Alan’s Mother) – Janice Lake
John Smith(Govt Official) – Patrick Whitehouse
Dillwyn Knox(Bletchley colleague) – Peter Bloor
Pat Green(Bletchley colleague) – Julie Robinson – Julie Robinson never actually got to perform as she broke her ankle the day of opening night.  Anne Bloor therefore took the part of Pat Green.
