Welcome to Banbury Cross Players.
Banbury Cross Players were formed in 1945 and have maintained a high standard of theatre performance for seventy five years.
We produce a programme of full length plays each year which are performed at The Mill Arts Centre Theatre, Banbury. BCP regularly take part in local Drama Festivals and have performed in some interesting locations such as Wroxton Abbey, Upton House, Sulgrave Manor and The RSC Courtyard at Stratford. See Links page for further details.
Regardless of what shows are in production, Banbury Cross Players have a programme of meetings on Tuesday evenings usually at The Mill Arts Centre. Members and visitors meet to read plays, run workshops, hold quizzes, attend lectures from visiting Directors and generally talk theatre to like-minded people.
Funding is through membership fees, ticket sales and sponsorship from local businesses.

Very few members remember the season 1953-1954. From Little Red Riding Hood to Cinderella, our 8th year was crucial to BCP's development, raising standards of theatre and reaching out to larger audiences.
