Established in 1945, with a long history and a diverse range of theatrical performance, Banbury Cross Players (BCP) pride ourselves on producing theatre of the highest standard.
Each year we have a season of full-length productions, in addition to a varied programme of weekly Thursday sessions, including workshops, play readings, and more – all hosted at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury!

Banbury Cross Players are delighted to be bringing their brand-new panto adventure, Aladdin, to The Mill Arts Centre in November 2025. Written by Liz Riley, get ready for laughs, magic, and mayhem in this unforgettable family panto adventure!
Aladdin loves an adventure, but when his strange Uncle Abanazar turns up out of the blue, he ends up on a very wild and mysterious adventure indeed! Join Aladdin and his brother Nigel as they search for missing treasure and along the way meet a feisty princess, the trainee Genie of the Ring, the hilarious Royal police force and many more weird, wacky, and wonderful characters! Thrills and spills galore and still home in time for tea, this fun-filled pantomime is a treat for all the family!

Goodbye Charles by Gabriel Benjamin Davis
Goodbye Charles is our One-Act Festival play and was be performed at Lighthorne, Abingdon and Wallingford. It will also be seen at Bromsgrove on 31 July and at Season Preview on 18 September.
BCP was awarded overall winner at the Lighthorne Festival.

BCP was awarded these trophies at the Wallingford Festival for 2025. They are (L to R) The Susan North Memorial Trophy, Best Overall Production and The Punter’s Prize.
